... then you already automatically have one virtual raffle ticket and you are in the drawing.
More Raffle Tickets by Referring Webmasters
For every bona fide, legitimate adult webmaster that you refer you get one extra virtual raffle ticket. So if you refer just one webmaster, you now have two tickets; one for yourself being a member and one for the referral. Your odds of winning are now doubled. Refer three webmasters and your odds of winning have now improved four times.
Your referrer code is contained in your own personal copy of each day's All Of 'Em To You newsletter. Feel free to use it where you wish as long as it goes to adult webmasters (not mainstream webmasters, not adult nor mainstream surfers.) We encourage you to put this into your email taglines, your board taglines, on the thank-you and submission pages of your traffic sites, wherever! You can also go to the link further above on this page and pick up some email collection boxes or buttons or banners for your sites. Do make certain you put in your referrer code in the HTML and use the email address that you use in subscribing to this newsletter.
Contest Run and Picking the Winners
This contest is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 16 and go until Tuesday, August 17th 2004. The winner will be announced in the newsletter the following day on Wednesday, August 18th.
The winners will be decided by the randomizer built into our script. Every virtual raffle ticket is in the script's electronic database (the virtual "drum" or "hat"). We will click on the randomizer four times. Each time it will spit out one email address of a subscriber with a ticket. The first one out will win the grand prize, the second one it spits out will win the first prize, et al. The drawing will take place at midnight EDT (12:01am) Wednesday August 18th and the emails of the winners (we don't know your name, afterall) published in the newsletter edition later that day, and for days following.
You have 10 days from the time of drawing to claim your prize. You can do so either by writing us FROM the address that is in our database, or by answering an email from us that we will send TO that address in our database. This is to prove you are you. If you do not claim your prize within the 10 days you will forfeit it; new contest replacements witll then be chosen on the 11th day. If there are any unclaimed prizes within the next six days then on the seventh day we will go back to the virtual barrel and redraw again the number of times needed for those who did not claim their prize and award it to the new winner(s).
Cheating
What is a bona fide adult webmaster? Here's the definitions. You can NOT sign up yourself under another one of your own emails, be it by your own domain or some web-based account. Web-based accounts are allowed, but obviously will be the first ones we will suspect. Email aliases by domain will be checked against whois if we have a question. This is a DOUBLE opt-in list; the webmaster who is referrered must go through the double process in order to be a subscriber; at that point you are given a virtual ticket that we can see in our admin as well as who you referred. They must stay the length of the contest. If they opt-out, the virtual raffle ticket is automatically taken away.
IP number and cookie-marking is in effect and tagged to every referral so we'll know if it's you again. Both email and site referral logging is also attached to every site-join visit and confirmed addy. There is also a common sense thing here. We can see a real cheater from a real referrers, and we in the end decide on our own if you're cheating or not. We can tell if you have a big links list and you put us on your thank you list or you put us on your newsletter, these are legitimate. And even though we can tell the difference, you might want to let us know before hand you're doing it, just to help save us time on our checking.
Eligibility
Employees of Dirty Gloves Inc., the parent company of All Of 'Em and All Of 'Em To You, are not eligible to particpate in this contest. Content provider contributors ARE allowed to participate in this contest as well as their employees.
Responsibilities
Winners email addresses (we have no idea of your name) will be printed in the newsletter, on the All Of 'Em To You site (this page, actually), and will be notified by email. While the providers who have contributed the prizes will also be notified who won, it is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER to make sure themselves that they contact the listed companies in their prize package to claim their prizes. Prizes are NOT TRANSFERRABLE to another person. Prizes are also NOT EXCHANGABLE. There are NO SUBSTITUTES. Do not ask for cash or other prize equivalent substitutes; contributors are under no obligation to make any substitutes whatsoever. If you cannot use feeds or plugins should you win them, then you lose them. (Our advice is with all these packages, start your own paysite -- have you seen these prizes, this is an easy thing to do even if you win just the third prize! -- and take and use all of your winnings.)
While we accept NO responsibility whatsoever to undelivered prizes, and do not expect any problems to arise in this area; in the unlikely event that a company is having problems and a winner does not receive their prizes in a timely manner, we here at All Of 'Em To You, will, in such an event do our best to "publicly impress" upon any delinquent contributor to quickly expedite their responsibility to the winners. Again, we do not expect anything like this to occur.
All winners are official when announced. While we expect to catch any cheating that may result PRIOR to announcement, we do RESERVE THE RIGHT no matter how unlikely this might happen, to, within one month, recall any prizes and renounce a winner, should it be brought to our attention, proven or otherwise found out by ourselves, that a winner has cheated; said cheater will then forfeit all prizes (content licenses will be revoked, feeds stopped, software disabled, etc). In which case another random selection will determine the replacement winner.
And, finally ...
While you are not compelled to, we would like to encourage you as a sign of gratitude that the winners hit the message boards and thank the companies who gave away the prizes that you won. Yeah, and you can mention us too if you like. :-) Again, you don't have to, but it's only right and it will buy you good will all around, and it's a nice thing to do. :-) |
